Room with a view

Yesterday, Charlotte’s parents dropped by for visit. They’re going to Africa in a few days and wanted to see Elle before leaving. Our apartment isn’t big enough to accommodate all of us so Charlotte and I spent the night at one of Malmö’s small hotels. A luxury I think all married couples should indulge in from time to time.

We ate a delicious meal last night near the base of the Turning Torso and spent the better part of the evening in the restaurant’s cosy lounge before returning to the hotel bar and a nightcap.

While Elle was entertaining her grandparents this morning, Charlotte and I were enjoying a fabulous hotel breakfast after which we too a well-needed rest in our room. The forthcoming week is looking mighty and now I feel decently rested and prepared. I honestly hope the DDR-esque weather gets a little better though.
