Nose view

Yes, its great to be back home after my three day photo shoot in Stockholm. Plenty of images to go through and I’ll be busy most of the weekend – including the famous (and equally infamous) Midsummer’s Eve.

I got some really cool shots today while sitting in the captain’s seat onboard a British Aerospace RJ 100 – a plane type that I’ve come to know quite well. Spoke with co-pilot Markus who gave some interesting insight into one of the most sought after occupations. I’ve spoken to a dozen or so captains and pilots at Malmö Aviation and all are very cool and at ease with their job. I guess that’s partly due to the obvious congenial atmosphere at the airline. Those I’ve met seem to have fun at work and enjoy working together. In a way, this gig has had a positive effect that I had not expected. Working with and around positive people rubs off and I found myself almost feeling like one of them – or at least temporarily part of their team.

Right now, my life has never been more inspiring and professionally, I’m currently working with some really exciting products and projects. Lots of responsibility and challenges – but also very rewarding. During the rest of the summer I’m going to try and focus on creative writing. Elle and I have talked about finishing a children’s book that I conceived and wrote a script for a few years ago. That would be nice.
