Mölle-by-the-sea

On average, Charlotte and I have been invited to a wedding a year for the last eleven years. I know there was one particular year when we attended at least four – might of been the auspicious 2000 A.C..

A few times we’ve been guest listed to these occasions abroad: a tropical wedding on a dow in Kenya, a buddhist wedding in Thailand and my brother Nick and his wife Heather’s white wedding in the US of A. All of the weddings we’ve been attending have been very different from each other and all certainly memorable tiying-the-knot events.

Today we’ll be attending Marcus and Marie’s wedding in Mölle-by-the-Sea. This small fishing village has a special place in our hearts – it was here that my wife and I were married some nine years ago. And like Marre and Marie, we too stayed at posh Hotell Kullaberg for our wedding night. Hopefully they won’t be locked out as we were…

On Monday, the newly weds will be flying to one of my favorite cities, Tokyo. Let’s hope they don’t fly with Yorkshire Airlines!
