My father-in-law just sent an SMS congratulating me on my name’s day. As a child, I was called Kim-Kim, later just Kim and then when I reached 30, I readopted my full first name. I’m not sure exactly how my two girls will be celebrating this auspicious day with me. But I’m sure to get some extra attention. Which I of course deserve on a day like this.
