Radio and a Dog Shrink
Written by joakim on 2008, 05, 13 – 00:54:19
I gave up on terrestrial radio a long time ago and for the last five years or so, I’ve been addicted to a variety of channels available via iTunes. For writing, I usually choose Groove Salad or Chillout Lounge. For photo editing, KCRW Music, Smooth Jazz or NPR comes in handy to keep me company in the Studio.
Honestly, I do not understand why people still listen to the complete crap that traditional music radio spews out. Not only is the choice of tunes on most Swedish channels made by a computer program rigged to market awful music, but most of the jocks are so talentless that I’m surprised they’re on the air. Then again, music that sucks is probably better off when played by bad deejays. That way, people don’t get confused. Like when you go to a restaurant and the food tastes terrible, but the service is great – or vice versa.
Charlotte is reading an interesting book right now about a dog shrink. He offers convincing evidence that dogs with mental issues are likely a result of their environment. In other words, if your dog is weird and you raised it, you probably should of opted for a stuffed animal in the first place. Or a hamster.
