August is traditionally a pretty slow month in my business – really just an extension of what has been a long summer break.

As of this week, several new projects have arrived in my inbox and the end of our company’s business year is looking decent – despite a quiet July and August.

I have an interesting photo shoot before lunch today. A management consultancy firm has assigned me to take both individual shots and group photos of the team. And even if I don’t work extensively with portrait photography, I really believe that the genre is where some of my most inspired work is.
