Back to the future in Skåne again after an intense and emotional trip to the capital. Once again, SJ proved not to be counted on and the train was so delayed that by the time we pulled into Stockholm C, I was seriouly late.

I try not to dwell too much on mishaps, past tragedies or traumas. Its not that I completely flush out old memories. I just try and keep them stored away from the forefront of everyday life. There’s so much fun stuff to fill life with – and besides, the future is always bright in my little world.

Yesterday’s funeral and after church gathering left a very positive vibe as I fell asleep on the night train’s bunk bed. In no small way because the majority of attending family members were young, sharp and smiling. But also because the cousins had a little time to reminiece about some of our childhoods happier moments.

I’d say the balance sheet was filled with an equal amount of tears and laughs – sorta like life itself.
