Vestmannaeyjar Islands

There are 15 islands in the area where I am at right now. However, the locals here on Vestmannaeyjar enjoy telling visitors that there are actually 16, counting the big island (Iceland) up north.
When I got in late last night, it was foggy, rainy and windy and everything looked mysterious and a little evacuated. Today, it’s a little cloudy with patches of sun. Looking forward to a tour of the island(s) – and yet another destination with a rich history and plenty of natural beauty – right here in the North Atlantic!

Vilken häftig natur! När jag är på Fårö känns himlen så nära, horistonten är synlig och stärnhimlen är som ett valv. Mitt i den känslan finn universums storhet och oändligheten så påtaglig oh jag känner mig så liten. Jag älskar den känslan och den tror jag att jag verkligen skulle känna på Island. Undrar om du förstår känslan jag försöker beskriva med dessa få rader i en kommentar…?
