Med stort stöd av sin morfar Allan, tog Elle igår Bronsmagistern på simskolan. Hon ligger ett par år före sin ålder när det gäller simningen vilket gör hennes föräldrar lite extra stolta. När jag var åtta (för typ, 38 år sedan) var simning en viktig del av mitt liv och jag är så glad att även Elle gillar sporten. Grattis Elle!

Today I have the pleasure of heading eastward to lands previously unseen by me. In the course of four days, I will board a huge cruise vessel, sail across the mighty Baltic Sea and visit ports and cities in both Estonia and Russia. Like my camera, I’m charged about this trip! As I write this – while sitting on the X2000 – the weather is superb and the Swedish landscape is, well, just unbeatably beautiful.
